I’m an experienced communicator with more than five years in marketing communications who seeks to use data to grow clients' businesses through creative and innovative marketing campaigns.
With numerous college internships in education, corporate and nonprofit public relations and marketing and past community newspaper reporting experience, I was well prepared to venture into my first corporate communications department, working on a PR team for a national company. Then, I moved into a content strategy development position for that same company before making the move to an agency working on content marketing for 20 clients each month. Now, I'm the head of the social media and content team at that agency, developing all social media strategy (paid and organic) and managing the paid social media advertising campaigns.
Currently, I’m working toward a master’s degree in communication management from the University of Denver, emphasizing in digital marketing communications. I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Arizona State University, focusing on public relations.
Continuing education is important, and I try to stay on top of the latest information in digital marketing through conferences, associations and online groups. I’m HubSpot inbound certified, email marketing certified and content marketing certified. I take pride in building communications strategies that are focused on SEO while also being useful to the customer.
