I discovered yoga in high school at my local YMCA. Over the past 15+ years (with a few pauses and rediscoveries along the way), yoga has remained a steady presence in my life. During a particularly challenging season, it became something more: a way to slow down, breathe and find steadiness again. As my practice deepened, I felt called to share that experience with others. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020 (Yoga & Ayurveda Center), followed by a 300-hour advanced training in 2023.
My approach is rooted in the belief that yoga is a path to holistic wellness and stress resilience, not just flexibility or strength. You won’t find me teaching in a traditional studio setting. Instead, I bring yoga into everyday spaces (gyms, bookstores and community gatherings) making it more accessible, approachable and part of real life.
Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time, returning after a break or simply looking for a slower, more supportive practice, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, capable, and welcome.
In my classes, I emphasize gentle, inclusive movement guided by the breath. My teaching is designed to support students of all ages and abilities, and is especially helpful for those navigating stress, life transitions or simply looking to move with more intention.
Gentle yoga + bookstore mornings designed to help you move, breathe and read. Once a month during cooler months.
